Graham Nash is most commonly known for his membership in the bands Crosby, Stills and Nash and The Hollies. He is a singer-songwriter, photographer and a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as of 1997. Born in 1942 in England, Nash found his talents in music at an early age. He became a member of The Hollies in the early 1960s and then a member of Crosby, Stills and Nash in the late 1960s. Nash is married to Susan, they have three children and he has been named as one of the most brilliant musicians of all times. Nash is an acclaimed songwriter of over 200 songs, many of which became huge hits, including “Wasted On the Way” and “Teach Your Children.” Nash’s musical influences are numerous, including Bob Dylan and the Beatles. He is also very involved in politics, environmental issues and photography. One of Nash’s primary concerns deals with protecting the environment. Politically, Nash works towards antinuclear issues. Nash fell into a love for photography and in 1997 he earned an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters degree from the New York Institute of Technology.
